Paul A. Lembrick
Attorney
Paul A. Lembrick graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2018. Prior to law school, Paul served over seven years as an officer in the United States Marine Corps that included multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan. Paul now supports and defends his clients just like he did the U.S. Constitution during his military service. He is transparent, straightforward, and firmly believes there are two sides to every story.
Paul began his legal practice in Lincoln where he worked under former Nebraska Attorney General Jon Bruning, gaining experience in a broad range of complex civil litigation and transactional business matters. He eventually transitioned to Berry Law Firm and primarily represented individuals facing criminal charges across Nebraska.
Paul’s criminal defense experience ranges from nearly all misdemeanors to the most serious felonies including sex assault, child pornography (state and federal), drugs, domestic violence, terroristic threats, and theft. Paul has won multiple felony jury trials, evidentiary hearings, contested protection order hearings, and successfully achieved case dismissals for his clients.
In addition to his criminal defense practice, Paul has extensive experience defending students and faculty at Nebraska colleges and universities facing allegations of sexual harassment and assault under Title IX. He has participated in all aspects of Title IX proceedings to include investigations, informal resolution, and winning multiple contested hearings.
Paul is also one of the few attorneys in Nebraska that represents professional and occupational license holders facing investigations and disciplinary action brought by the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services and the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office for alleged law violations. Paul has represented credential holders in contested hearings, negotiated settlement agreements, and license reinstatement proceedings.
