Jason grew up in South Central Nebraska, in a small community, where he was taught the value of hard work.  He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska in 1999 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota in 2004.  Jason and his family have worked and made Norfolk their home since graduating law school in the spring of 2004.

Jason is a sustaining member of the Nebraska State Bar Association.  He is a lifetime fellow of the Nebraska Bar Foundation.  He has served as the president of the Madison County/7th Judicial District Bar Association, served two terms on the Nebraska State Bar Association Executive Council, and is a past Chair of the House of Delegates. Jason is a member of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, American Association for Justice, Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

 Jason’s practice consists of personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. He is also licensed to practice in the state of South Dakota.
